Apologies - Jon York, Bradders, Newman, Bleby, Dan Young.
Captains Report - All summed up to say what an enjoyable season it was with everyone enjoying peoples company and working hard pulling together for the club. Social scene growing. Sat 3s relegated hoping to get promoted next season. Sat 2s struggled then picked up and nearly achieved promotion. Sat 1s struggled a little all season mainly due to bringing in a few new players again to help field 3 teams. Stayed up in the end though due to league restructure.
Ground Report - Ground has had all end of season work completed. This includes seeding, loaming, worming, spiking and cutting. Work carried out by Tony Bristowe of Cov North Warks at a very reasonable price. Pre-season rolling to start soon. Volunteers welcome to help with this. Matt Tibbitts, Martin Richmond and Pete Holland to oversee and complete most of this. 10 hours plus required.
Applied for a grant to try and get more matches on junior and adult matches. Applied for new tops to our covers, new side sheets to cover other wickets and new pipes to replace the old kinked ones.
Leybourne to carry on with ground in March
Treasurers report - Not released for online purposes. Pete Holland welcomes members that want to know anything to speak to him privately. Overall in a much healthier state than this time last year due to Pete Holland's hard work and managing accounts efficiently and also all members for pulling together to help with purchases at the bar, grants, sponsorship and social events. Keep this up!!

Martin Richmond raised point about card reader he had purchased and donated to the club. Izettle will give the ability to pay for drinks and snacks at the bar as well as paying for match day subs on card. The idea is we are losing out on bar profits as younger generation do not carry cash around with them these days. It is a no monthly line rental and all we have to pay is 1.5% on income. It would avoid people being unable to pay match subs because they do not have cash on them. To be discussed at next committee meeting. A lot of people in favour Peter Holland does not agree. Martin Richmond going to get some evidence of how it works to try and win Peter Holland over and show him it won't make his job as treasurer any less manageable because of the card machine.
Dan Lyons put forward fundraising idea which could also include wives and girlfriends to integrate them more into the club and get them to know each other. Motion passed a subcommittee to meet and set a date to start getting things rolling.
Chris White raised a point about the season being more enjoyable but why? A few various answers were given.
Next committee meeting Tuesday 6th February 8pm at KVCC
